Kate and Ian’s wedding was held at the GORGEOUS Bonnet Island Estate wedding venue in Long beach Island NJ. It’s honestly one of the most perfect places for a NJ wedding. The bride Kate, chose a gorgeous white gown for her wedding day as well as a sparkle wedding belt. Her bouquet was white with orchids, roses and calla lilies. I really loved the bridesmaids dresses which were an emerald color. The emerald green wedding colors really popped! Another accent color for the ceremony was the purple orchids, all designed by the amazingly fabulous MDS Floral design, who always does a fabulous job! The couple decided to do a first look, so even though it rained, we got to take some great photos with the umbrella.
I also backlit the couple upstairs in the ceremony barn at their Bonnet Island Estate wedding. We took photos of the bridesmaids and couple all in the barn which was a great place because of the rain. Their ceremony decor was so gorgeous including their giant “K” and “I” on the ceremony doors. After their amazing ceremony, guests enjoyed cocktail hour with the couples signature drinks and amazing food. After their cocktail hour, guests went into the gorgeous bonnet island estate wedding reception room. The lovely couple and I got to go outside for a short time while guests were being seated and take more photos since it stopped raining. It was really a perfect time for photos and I’m so happy we got to go out. Overall, it was a great day and I’m happy to share the photos with you all!
Gorgeous Weddings of Distinction’s Bonnet Island Estate was the perfect backdrop for Kate & Ian’s beautiful wedding! Even the rain couldn’t hold them back!
