Lisa and Chris are an amazing couple, and I loved photographing their engagement at Holmdel Park, so I was really excited for their wedding at Bonnet Island Estate in Long Beach Island.
I actually grew up outside of Long Beach Island, and worked in Ship bottom as a teenager, so it definitely has a special place in my heart and I love photographing there! On top of that, Bonnet Island is by far one of my most favorite wedding venues! It’s so gorgeous with all the natural lighting and natural light reflectors and is very laid back
Lisa and Chris got ready at a local hotel, and then had a church ceremony. After that, we went to the Bonnet Island Estate wedding venue and took photos all over the island. We went out at the end of the dock and took photos over the water, and then we took photos inside the ceremony barn, and around different places in the estate. We also took bridal party photos, bridesmaids photos, groomsmen photos and family photosAfter that all of the guests enjoyed cocktail hour which was absolutely amazing! After the cocktail hour, we had some quick time to take some night time shots just as the sky was a perfect sapphire. We went out onto the dock again and I backlit the photo so the light shined through Lisa and Chris. After that, their guests danced the night away! Overall, it was an amazing wedding and such an honor to photograph!!!!
