Although the forecast called for rain the whole day, we were so lucky that the couple decided to do a “first look” and we went outside just before the rain started. I was beyond excited at how absolutely gorgeous Elizabeth’s dress was that I couldn’t stop photographing it! What was even cooler is that they matched their wedding cake to replicate Elizabeth’s dress! It was the first time I’ve seen such an awesome idea like that with the cake. Another favorite for me to photograph was Elizabeth’s Christian Louboutin shoes that were beyond gorgeous along with her bridesmaids shoes which were Badgley Mischka . I also loved the colors of the bridesmaid dresses and the pops of pink and white with the calla lilly bouquets.

One of my favorite parts of photographing at the beautiful One Atlantic is the sparkle lights in the same building that are just the perfect backdrop to any wedding After the beautiful ceremony, we got to go outside on the beautiful deck over looking the ocean and take night time photos. The lighting was so pretty and we really went outside at the perfect time because the sky was a beautiful sapphire blue! Since the couple saw each other prior to the ceremony, we offered the complimentary same day slideshow which was really exciting for the guests to see photos from the day rotating on the screen throughout the cocktail hour and reception. Congratulations Elizabeth and Ryan and thank you for letting me capture your special day!!

It was a beautiful sunny day with the cutest puffy clouds when we arrived. I photographed the many detail shots and then got to meet the awesome videography team Darrell and Emily from Dmart Films. They were such a pleasure to work with and I highly recommend them to future brides and grooms! The beautiful flowers were from The Loft Florist, who did an incredible job! The colors flowed together so beautifully and I loved the succulent accents in the bouquets.

Laura and Erik decided to do a “first look” which was really such an amazing decision because we got to walk around Bonnet Island Estate and capture many different aspects of the beautiful venue. Laura and Erik are so in love and they giggled and were so natural in front of the camera! I could literally photograph them every day! The joy in their faces and the love they have for each other is just wonderful and is the reason I do what I do for a living.

The ceremony was so lovely and their officiant was by far my favorite one of all time! His sermon was so biblical and inspiring! And before the ceremony he even asked guests not to stand in the way of the photographer yay!

After the ceremony, we took some fun family photos and then headed to cocktail hour and photographed some detail shots. Laura and Erik’s wedding cake was beyond stunning! I’ve never seen a multi-colored ombre cake before and it was just beautiful! The reception was so fun! Hands down amazing! Especially during this awesome rendition of “Paradise by the Dashboard Light” by Meatloaf. What a fabulous crowd and fabulous DJ!

During the reception, we went outside for night time shots and I was so excited to do my first successful 30 second shutter photo Thank you so much Laura and Erik for letting me photograph your amazing day! God bless, Kay

Brooke wore a gorgeous Matilda gown from Sareh Nouri Bridal. I was so excited to photograph it on the chandelier in the amazing bridal suite. Brooke’s makeup was done by the talented Tim Alan, who I highly recommend as it lasted through the entire day, even in the cold ocean air! Her gorgeous flowers were designed by the amazing ladies at MDS Floral Design! It’s ALWAYS an honor working with them and they do such an amazing job every time!! My favorite was the Maid of Honor’s bouquet which had such gorgeous colors!

As mentioned above, it was gorgeous and sunny day but pretty cold. Brooke and Stephen were such troopers in taking photos and we got to go to several locations such as the beautiful Barnegat Lighthouse State Park. After the light house, we came back to Mallard and got some gorgeous photos on their dock. Their beautiful ceremony was held in the Mallard Island Chapel and decorated with gorgeous candles and pink and purple flowers and peonies. After cocktail hour we got to take a couple of fun night time photos outside of the venue. I just love the sapphire blue sky in the background and the timing couldn’t have been more perfect! Heather and Dave decided to do a “first look” which is really the best thing a couple can do on their wedding day! We had so much more time for photos and they were relaxed throughout the day and got to spend most of the day together After the bridal party photos we took a walk down to the beach and they started to dance, which was just so romantic! I felt really lucky to work with Dave and his crew from CinemaCake. They were SOOO amazing to work with and were just relaxed and fun! It made the day flow even smoothly and their wedding was absolutely perfect! Their ceremony was at sunset over One Atlantic which was gorgeous because of the floor to ceiling windows. After the ceremony, we got to take quick photos on the balcony with the night time overlooking Atlantic City. The lights were absolutely gorgeous! Overall, it was a perfect wedding and I’m beyond thankful to have been there to capture it! <3

Kim’s dress was one of my most favorite dresses! She even had it customized to be a one shoulder style. After getting ready, we all headed to the church and it was such a beautiful ceremony and I loved all of the details! After the ceremony we went to Lambert Castle in Paterson, New Jersey. Kim and Steve were so great to work with and easy going! They even let us take some photos in the woods because I saw some bright fall foliage that was gorgeous! One of my favorite photographs of the day is Steve jumping with the thank you sign

After the photos, we headed to The Westmount to take a few more photos outside of the venue, and by the fireplace. I absolutely adored her centerpieces and the beautiful purple backlighting. They also had these really cute “Mr.” and “Mrs.” signs at the sweetheart table which looked really cute! The night went perfectly and I loved photographing the first dance, parent dances, fun group dancing photos and the cake cutting. They even had a gorgeous candy bar that greeted all of the guests on the way out. Thank you so much to Kim and Steve for allowing me to photograph your special day!
