Whitney and Mike’s wedding was AMAZING!!!!!!!!!! I was literally smiling ALL day! Whitney’s style is awesome! It’s a mix between Free people and rustic Bohemian and just FUN! The whole day was so relaxed and romantic, it was definitely one of the best weddings I have ever been to or photographed! I was blessed to have worked with the very creative event planning ladies at Confetti & Co. who helped to set up all of the gorgeous details for the ceremony and reception. The Bride Whitney is as talented as she is beautiful! She created ALL of the flowers, the table designs, the ceremony designs, these GORGEOUS hanging ivy chandeliers, the invitations and signage and even BAKED the cakes and desserts!!! I was lucky enough to try the cakes and believe me, they were AMAZING! The flavors were vanilla cardamon, french toast, and I believe a black tahini. Every detail was incredible, it was like a photographers dream and every brides dream! I arrived super early because I wanted to capture all of her amazing details including her sparkle dress, flowers, invitations and other decor. I loved photographing her vintage wedding ring on top of paper from the awesome Rifle Paper Co. Whitney arrived with her gorgeous bridesmaids, and I took photos of her getting ready and then bridal portraits. She is so beautiful that I was skipping during the photo time because of how they looked on the back of my camera
After the bridal portraits, we walked down to the park where there is a fire pit in the middle of the woods and the couple decided to do their first look. It was such a great moment and I loved capturing their emotions! Then all of a sudden we saw horses down the trail, and my lovely second photographer sprinted after them asking if we could take photos by the horses!! They were so nice and kind and let Whitney and Mike ride their horses!!!!! It was such an amazing moment! After that, we took more photos around the gorgeous park and with their fun bridal party. We then headed out to a part of the open field where I laid down low to get a photo of the sky background! I couldn’t believe the back of my camera when I saw it! God gave us SUCH an amazing sky that day and it was such a blessing! After some family photos, their beautiful ceremony started in the middle of huge trees with benches. After that their guests enjoyed the fun cocktail hour with wedding lawn games, popcorn machines, corn hole, and badminton. Then their guests sat outside for the beautiful reception under the trees. One of my favorite parts of the evening was the wedding Piñata!!!!! And finally, their guests had a sparkler send off which was the perfect end to the perfect day! Congratulations Whitney and Mike!
