Liberty House Wedding Cake Boss New Jersey with Heather and Derek.
Congratulations Heather and Derek on your amazing New Jersey wedding at the Liberty House in Jersey City, New Jersey! It was so awesome to photograph your beautiful day and God gave us the most GORGEOUS weather! It was 60 degrees in February! The weather was so unbelievable that it was even warm by the water overlooking the New York City skyline. I was so excited when I got news a few weeks before their wedding, that they were going to be featured on the season finale of Cake Boss on TLC! It was so exciting and they got to film at the Liberty House with all of the production company and of course Buddy from Carlo’s Bakery! I got to meet Buddy as well and he was so nice and made the gorgeous ice sculpture cake based on the movie Frozen with Elsa’s castle
Even though we weren’t frozen in February because of the summer weather, the cake was still awesome and delicious! They both got ready at the Westin and Heather’s gorgeous gown was from Kleinfeld in New York City. Heather and Derek decided to do a first look and see each other at the Westin in Jersey City before their ceremony. We walked down to the harbor and the lighting was literally phenomenal as it was bouncing off of a building and giving the perfect light bounceAfter the photos and their ceremony, we headed over to the Liberty House venue and took some night time photos. Overall, it was an AMAZING day! Congratulations H&D and thank you so much for letting me photographing your amazing day
