This is by far one of my favorite engagement photo shoots ever! The NJ Engagement shoot locations we chose was in Holmdel, New Jersey and we chose the absolute perfect timing with the gorgeous cherry blossom trees! The light pink and white trees were the perfect accent to showcase the love between the adorable couple Katie and Jason whose future wedding is at Mallard Island yacht club in Long Beach Island, New Jersey. The lovely bride Katie, wore a white lace dress for her engagement photo shoot. Katie also accented her dress with a mint blue belt which added that great color pop! Katie also wore gorgeous mint heals which looked amazing in the photos. Her groom Jason, wore a very cute outfit for an engagement shoot which included a tie and vest.

The add some extra sparkle to the light, I took my prism along and took some photos through it as well. After the cherry blossom engagement shoot session, we walked over to the barn and took some photos by the animals which was really fun! One photo was next to a cow grazing and the light was just perfect! We chose to do the engagement photo shoot around the time of golden hour, which is by far one of the best times to take engagement photos. One trick that I used was the shake the cherry blossom tree branches so that the gorgeous flower petals fell on the couple as we took photos. Another great thing is that the light backlit the petals, giving it an extra glowCongratulations Katie and Jason! You were so amazing to work with and I just love how much emotion you showed in the photos and how easy you are to work with!!
