Freehold NJ Urban Outfitters Rustic Engagement shoot – Jenna and Eric

I’m just so excited to share Jenna and Eric’s Rustic engagement photo shoot with you all! They may look familiar as they were my wonderful models for the Safari shoot last summer at The Ashford Estate in Allentown, NJ and Six Flags Great Adventure safari in Jackson, NJ which was published in an 8 page spread in New Jersey Bride Magazine for Spring of 2013! I was just beyond thrilled when Eric proposed and they asked me to photograph their wedding this year! I seriously could photograph them everyday, they are just so fun to work with and I just love how in love they are! We were so lucky to have a gorgeous day in February and we photographed at a rustic barn and field that I just love in Freehold, NJ! The colors of the field were so gorgeous and I LOVED Jenna’s style and outfit which came from Urban Outfitters.

Almost all of the photos below were shot on the Contax 645 processed at Richards Photo Lab in Hollywood, CA. I love the look of film especially in the winter time as it really adds a warmth to the tones and adds a nice bokeh effect. After photographing in the open field with the cute blanket accessory and gorgeous long maxi skirt, Jenna had an outfit change and we walked over to the fence and barn area. I loved her red outfit and Americana look with the red barn as the background. The photo shoot was great and I was just so excited to photograph the whole time:)Jenna and Eric, I really can’t wait for your wedding this year and thank you so much for being so great to work with as always! You are such an amazing couple!

Stephanie Roberts Jarry - Hello Kay! This is my favorite session! I love that you shot this with Contax 645…just beautiful! Also, the range of emotions captured, different angles, poses…well done. I would love to be considered for your mentoring session! I am passionate about portrait photography and would love to transition to weddings! Your mentoring would be so very appreciated!
