Stephanie and Morgan were married at the incredible Ashford Estate in Allentown, NJ. This was the weekend of Hurricane Irene and I had a triple this weekend of which two were cancelled. On the day Hurricane Irene hit, which was Saturday, was Stephanie and Morgan’s wedding day. The Ashford Estate is an amazing venue, and their colors truly shined during the difficult weather situation. They said that no matter what, they would not close the Estate for their wedding if they still wanted to have it. I know Stephanie and Morgan really must have appreciated their dedication! Luckily, there wasn’t any bad weather in the morning of their wedding. The Estate looked absolutely gorgeous (as always). Stephanie got ready in the AMAZING Ashford Estate bridal suite, which is honestly the best location ever for photos! The brides colors were so fun and filled with life! Bright orange and purples and multi colored bridal shoes. Stephanie’s dress was gorgeous as well! After her hair and makeup, she got dressed and we did some bridal portraits. Her bridesmaids wore gorgeous multi-colored dressed which really went well together!
Their wedding was held in the Ashford Estate’s beautiful barn. Their decor was so colorful as well in the barn. After the ceremony, we took some backlit rain drop photos with the umbrella and without the umbrella outside of the estate. Even though it was a rainy day wedding, it was gorgeous! And I’m so happy I backlit the raindrops to give it that special pop.
Everyone had an amazing time and danced their hearts out. It was obvious how much Stephanie and Morgan love each other! Every time I tried taking a picture of them on the dance floor, they were candidly kissing
It was so sweet! I just loved photographing them because of their spontaneous and carefree nature (wait until you see how great their first kiss was!!!). Congratulations and thank you for being so light-hearted, funny and great to work with!
