The Ocean Place wedding NJ I had an amazing time photographing Kristina and John’s wedding at The Ocean Place in Long Branch, NJ. I actually grew up in the same town as Kristina and went to the same school as a child and it was so awesome to be there to photograph her special wedding day! I really loved working with them both at their sunrise engagement shoot and their wedding day was even more awesome! I loved photographing in Long Branch on the beach because the background is so gorgeous! I placed Kristina’s dress up on a palm tree during the getting ready aspect of the day. One of my favorite parts to photograph was the emotional part of getting dressed and how sweet her bridesmaids were in wiping her tears of joy away.
The ceremony was absolutely stunning! Located right on the beach with the ocean as the backdrop. You could hear the waves as they exchanged vows close to sunset. After the beautiful ceremony, we took photos of the bridal party on the beach and got some fun jumping photos! We also took some family photos on the beach and then photos of just Kristina and John right during sunset. The lighting was absolutely gorgeous during the couple photo time and I especially loved the photo of them both walking back to the boardwalk with the sun shining through their kiss.
The reception was awesome and after a while of dancing, we got to go outside again to take night time photos. It was really fun and the sky was a perfect sapphire blue and we had the light shining right through their kiss to backlight them. Overall, it was an amazing wedding and you could really see how much they love each other!
