The Amalfi Experience and Kay English Photography published in Destination I do magazine ! Amalfi Coast wedding
Wow! This is truly one of the GREATEST honors of my entire career! I’m beyond thrilled to have Rachel and Jason’s AMAZING Amalfi Coast destination wedding in print, in the awesome Destination I do magazine! It was so great to work alongside the awesome ladies at the Amalfi Experience wedding planners.
From the article: “It was after a trip in 2010, that Rachel and Jason’s love affair with Italy began. “It was out first big trip, just the two of us and we had a blast,” says Rachel. “Italy is rich in history and culture and everyone was incredibly welcoming.” Once they were engaged, the two knew they wanted to introduce their loves ones to Italy and the “Adventure that travel brings out in everyone.” The couple decided on Italy’s iconic Amalfi Coast for their destination wedding after seeing photos online. “Even though we’d never been to Positano, as soon as I saw photos of the incredible cliff side and idyllic beach, I was smitten,” recalls the bride. “Positano was the perfect combination of the fun and relaxed atmosphere of a beachfront venue, while still having all the culture and history that Europe has to offer.” Come W-day, Rachel got the traditional Catholic ceremony she had always wanted which included a full Mass. Walking to their reception venue with their 30 guests is one of the couples favorite memories. ‘Because Positano is such a small town everywhere we went people were cheering “auguri”(Italian for congratulations)… and it was such a warm and welcoming experience we’ll never forget”. The couple chose to hold their reception at a local restaurant which boasted stunning views…”when you’re getting married in one of the most beautiful locations on earth, let the natural beauty of your location shine for itself”, says Rachel. “Your guests flew around the world to see you on your wedding. Everyone will be so in awe of you and your gorgeous locale that they won’t even notice if you didn’t have a signature drink or the trendiest, pinterest worthy favors”. “All of your planning, all our hard work finally paid off. We had an amazing wedding our guests couldn’t stop raving about, and to see everyone truly enjoying themselves was the best feeling”
